Video and Photos:Rihanna gets traditional Maori tattoo on her hand with a mallet and chisel in New Zealand

Rihanna doesn’t do things by halves as she proved when she had her latest tattoo hammered into her skin using a chisel and a mallet.
The 25-year-old decided to get a permanent reminder of her recent trip to New Zealand as part of her Diamonds world tour by having a traditional Maori tattoo etched into her skin.
Instead of adding to her growing number of tattoos with a needle machine, the Pour It Up singer had the tat inked on her right hand using the traditional method, which uses a chisel, ink pigment and a mallet.
A two-minute video of the singer getting the elaborate designs of lines and symbols from her fingernails down to the middle of her forearm from tattooist Inia Taylor at the Moko Ink studio in West Auckland, was posted on YouTube earlier today.
In the video, RiRi is seen maintaining her composure for the majority of the video, before she starts grimacing as the process comes to an end.
